Andreas Iniesta has insisted that Barcelona can overturn last night’s Champions League quarter final loss to Juventus in the second leg, replicating their miraculous comeback against PSG.
Barcelona suffered a shock 3-0 loss in the second Champions League round in a row as Paulo Dybala’s early brace was topped off by Giorgio Chiellini’s headed goal in the second half.
Las month Barcelona’s chances of progression in the competition were all but written off as they suffered a 4-0 defeat against PSG at Parc des Princes, only for the Catalan giants to stage perhaps the greatest comeback in Champions League history and end the tie with a 6-5 aggregate victory.

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta says that he has faith in his team’s proven bounce-back ability, but added that if they fail to play with the determination that they did in the last round, progression will be “impossible.”
“The comeback? If we do things as we need to, we’ll turn the tie around,” he said.
“We don’t feel as bad as we did in Paris, but we have another big mountain to climb.”
The 32-year-old had the opportunity to rule out Dybala’s early opener, after a through pass from Messi split the Juve defence, but spurned the chance as Gigi Buffon saved, only for the Old Lady to double their lead a minute later.
Iniesta, however, added that he feels his side improved on their disappointing performance late in the game and could have earned an away goal to make a second historic comeback a little more achievable.

“Something else was seen from us in the second half,” he said. “We deserved to score, but it means little now.
“We did things badly, especially in the first half.
“Juve are a good team, but when you don’t do things well, it penalises you a lot.”
